• If you are an importer bringing products into Europe, there are a diverse range of regulations and requirements.
  • Are you fully compliant with the myriad of importer obligations?

Integra Technology provides a number of services for importers of goods. We are able to advise on and provide services relating to EU importer obligations. See below for an overview.

  • CE marking services

Integra can advise on the compliance of imported products; ensuring that the affixed CE mark is valid or assessing requirements for a product to have a CE mark affixed.

  • Documentation services

The product Technical File is the responsibility of the importer. Integra can assist with the gap analysis, structuring, assembly, storage and updating of the product Technical File, ensuring that you are compliant with CE requirements.

  • Advising on national requirements and other potential market barriers

There are a number of diverse EU requirements which require action (and proofs thereof) by importers, including chemical tests (RoHS, REACH), environmental requirements (WEEE, packaging, batteries) and other, product specific, restrictions. It is often necessary to provide customers with reports and proofs of compliance for your product.
Integra Technology are experienced in managing EU compliance requirements and have close relationships with notified bodies (test houses) where product testing can be carried out.

  • Consulting on quality systems

As an importer of products from outside of Europe, it is your responsibility to ensure quality control of the products.
Integra Technology have a wealth of experience in ensuring product safety and quality. We can assist in the creation of testing specifications, carrying out independent batch testing and advising on current or planned systems. We are also CIG accredited (via Test House) for factory audits.
